snap shots of a Sunday afternoon
August 16, 2010
We thought we should have some exercise, so wandered out to see this amazing sky at 6pm . . .
. . . baby gulls everywhere making pathetic tweeting sounds and constantly bothering and nagging the adults for food . . .
. . . the babies are still all fluffed up with new born feathers and their necks are non existent . . .
. . . only a few beach huts show some habitation today. It’s cloudy but warmish . . .
. . . the crambe is spreading itself everywhere now . . .
. . . I like these tones on the privately owned huts. The huts that are owned by the council are stained in the most depressing colours – burgundy, bottle green and dark blue. Presumably they had a whole lot of paint left over from something else and made a bad decision on where it could be used up!
The boats look fine . . . .
. . . this little tug looks like a toy . . . all quite composed . . . recycled material being used sensibly
. . . small close up landscapes . . .
. . . on the way back to have our own celebration, we caught up with another musical event in the public gardens . . .
. . this is what we did on the beach . . . in the dark . . .
